Whether you’re going for a new look or just for an event such as a Bridal Updo , hair extensions can make a magical change. Tape-in extensions only take about an hour to apply, this is a much faster application time than any other type of extension thus far.
The maintenance of tape in extensions takes more time as they have to be gently removed after approximately 7 weeks. Removing the extensions entails using a solvent spray on each tape strip, letting it break down the adhesive for 5-10 minutes, and gently peeling from the hair. Depending on how many extensions are in the hair, (average ranges between 10-20 double-sided sections), this will take 30-60 minutes. 
The extensions are then washed, dried and new adhesive applied to each one. The natural hair is washed and dried and the extensions are reapplied to the natural hair.
Any hair color going on the areas where extensions will be located needs to be done while the extensions are out of the hair.
So…the maintenance process will take approximately 2 and a half to 3 and a half hours depending on the number of extensions and whether or not color is being done during the process.Tape-in extensions look, and more importantly, feel the most natural.
