D'Addario Kaplan, Zyex & Helicore upright bass strings

We offer the D'Addario line of upright bass strings: the new Kaplans in light, medium or heavy gauge, Zyex and Helicore. The Kaplan strings are more responsive than their older Helicore brands and are also made with a steel core. They are made more for the orchestra, classical playing, not jazz. The Zyex strings are made with a synthetic core ( similar to the Evah Pirazzi strings ) and while meant as a bowing string, we are selling some Zyex to lots jazz players as well. We offer the Helicore orchestra strings in light, medium and heavy. The D'Addario Hybrids in medium and light, with their Pizzicatos in medium only.
