Our warranty for new upright basses

You may have noticed that on the 'check list' for all of our new upright basses, we promise an unprecedented warranty. We stand behind our products and most of all, our reputation for selling only the highest quality upright basses in the world. A warranty is a guarantee and it promises that this quality should last. Many of our competitors offer some kind of wishy-washy warranty and don't really say what it is (exactly) that the warranty will cover. Ask them! It's easy to guarantee a tuner or an endpin, but there is concern over what kinds of aged woods were used, or more importantly unseen, unknown issues of the bass (inside and out).

On all our new basses (Wan-Bernadel, Emile Gillet and Thompson plywood basses) we cover the following:

1) Your bass should never crack from abnormal shrinkage and we promise that should this ever happen under normal use, we would take back and repair the bass (100%) . By normal use, we mean, that you didn't bump or accidentally break or crack the bass while in transit or something related to use. (That's what instrument insurance is for!)

2) Every tuning gear, endpin or accessory, adjuster etc... is covered. Anything that should go wrong (or become defective in any way...it is covered too.)

It's simple. The bass you buy is built to keep for a lifetime. Any other type of bass is not worth having. This type of warranty for us is easy: When the quality is at such a high level, way less can go wrong, but if something should, you'll know that we're here to make it right! Feel free to call or email us at any time should you have any additional questions regarding a bass or our exclusive warranty.
