Debbie, my child bride, and I plan on attending the reunion. In February, I had knee replacement surgery and was not sure if I could make a five hour trip to PA. I still have issues but feel we will be able to make the drive.
Debbie retired this past October, and I plan to do the same December 31, 2013. Thirty-eight years of accounting is enough for me. Thanks for all you two do for our class.

She goes to the computer and pulls up research information on an animal. She prints out the fact sheets she needs. She than highlights the key facts and transfers them to her report data sheet. She decides how she is going to put the information in a report and than proceeds to develop a Power Point presentation with inserted pictures. Sounds like a high school or college student? She is one of many first graders at Ben Davis Elementary in
I used "She" generically. There are several boys and girls doing this in the class. Seems the boys actually are more motivated than the girls in developing Power Point presentations. The girls are more into doing posters because they like doing the art work.

NEWS FROM THE HOMEFRONT
I had an extended Cinco de Mayo birthday celebration. It started early on May 3 rd
when I purchased some new flip flops with Dad's birthday money that had baseballs made out of Swarovski crystals on them.I've had my eye on them since I spotted them in January! Then, on May 4th, Murphy brought me to the bike shop in
Well, my Cinco de ME,
Stop the PRESSES!Since the last update two weeks ago, I have received reunion checks for, (DRUM ROLL please.......), TEN classmates and EIGHT guests!!!That means we have a total of 127 actual attendees so far.I keep looking at my list and see MANY, MANY more names of classmates that are GAMERS and come to each and every one!So, I know we will have an excellent turnout. Now, you know what you have to do.Get the check book out and send the money in.We would like to start getting an idea of an approximate number so that we can order “goodies”!

Hello everyone. I just wanted to let you'll know that Mom had a better day today. We found out that she is not keeping anything on her stomach because her stomach is not emptying. She has had no food in 5 days and her stomach was full of food particles. The doctor said there is something big blocking her stomach and keeping the food there. He could not tell what it was. He said it could be a tumor or possibly built up scar tissue. He is leaving her on clear liquids for a few more days and then repeating the test to see if he can tell more. He may have to do surgery to remove it. She also has a large ulcer and a lot of inflammation and hiatal hernia. Please keep her in your prayers. She has now lost 20 lbs. in 4 weeks. Love you all.

Charlie Lefort
has entered a new phase in the healing process. The skin is about 95% covered, nephrology (kidney team) has signed off, and now the physical therapy has become the primary focus. We can hear his voice and he can verbally communicate since the trach has been removed. He still has a long road ahead as far as rehabilitation goes, and we look forward to him getting stronger and being ambulatory. Tomorrow he is scheduled for surgery #15. God's Grace and all of your prayers have carried
"Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective." -James 5:16 —

Thank you for all of the prayers and well wishes. Steve went to be with Jesus . He went peacefully without pain and no suffering anymore. He was a big piece of me and will always be so. My body is going to never be whole again until we meet again in the city of gold. He is at the gates in his dress blues greeting everyone- due to never meeting a stranger- asking "With what branch did you serve? Well, go back because you are not a United States Marine".
