The European Project Digital for Sustainability is a project funded under the Erasmus+ programme, dedicated to accelerating the digital and green transitions within the ICT sector and across European industries. As part of its activities, it offers free training courses for introducing the concepts and practices of digital sustainability to professionals and researchers working with ICT and digital activities. This course on Introduction to Digital Sustainability presents the wide concept of digital sustainability aligned with the general concept of sustainability according to the main international organisms. It will also depict the three main blocks of sustainability: environmental impact, economic sustainability and social impact with illustrative cases.

· Environmental impact of digital professional activity

· Economic feasibility of digital professional activity

· Social impact of digital professional activity

Online self-paced course with a guided learning itinerary based on the learning platform with only one-hour initial synchronous session and then asynchronous work by students with contents, additional readings and exercises to be completed in a maximum of two weeks (extendable to an additional week).

Evaluation of students will be based on the completion of all activities in the learning platform including exercises and passing all the evaluation questionnaires.
