Images of riverbed stones have been utilized as the target due to the absence of recently constructed sundial-like stone settings. However, since CycleGAN is designed to transform the entire image to resemble the target image, the desired outcomes have not been achieved. Consequently, experiments have been conducted with a modified approach called Masked CycleGAN, where the transformation is focused solely on the stone parts of the input images. Although a decrease in loss values has been observed with ResNet compared to U-Net within the structure of the generator, the anticipated results have not been realized.
