UCNJ is the first community college in New Jersey and is truly committed to the mission of providing accessible and affordable education for residents of Union County.
It has been 35 years since I first joined UCNJ as a member of its governing boards. At that time, it was a newly re-engineered institution of higher learning created by the merger of Union College and the Union County Vocational Technical Institute. Since that time, the College has continued to provide an accessible and affordable education to all.
My colleagues and I experience great pride in serving on the governing bodies of UCNJ. I commend the entire college community for their achievements and invite our web visitors to learn more about UCNJ and the many resources it has to offer.
