I would like to invite you to spend your vacation in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. Our home literally backs up against the National forest with hiking trails, bike paths, and trout streams a walk away. Enjoy the indoor hot tub overlooking some of Colorado's most spectacular mountain ranges. Our home has huge rustic beams, 2 moss rock fireplaces, 2 master suites, high cathedral ceilings, sun decks with BBQ, and comfy log beds with quilted comforters. Just down the street are the Sebring Lodge & Afterburner Lodge , making this an ideal home for larger groups traveling together.

Enjoy sailing or boating on lake Dillon only one mile away, shop at the famous Silverthorne factory outlet stores, or golf at one of eight mountain golf courses within 35 minutes. There's white water rafting at the bottom of the hill and one of Colorado's gold medal trout streams within three minutes. There's horseback riding and jeeping tours to take you high above the tree line with a view that's worth a million dollars. Seven of Colorado's famous "fourteeners" (peaks over 14,000') lie within fifteen minutes of Summit County. The geography that encircles our lodge provides a stunning backdrop to the gold and silver discoveries that left a patchwork of historic mines and ghost towns. Come visit our flower-filled meadows and breathe the fresh mountain air. The Dakota Lodge is the perfect home with lots of trees and fantastic views to have your family reunion, ski vacation, or summer getaway. We invite you to our home for a summer vacation or winter skiing at Breckenridge, Keystone, Araphoe Basin, and Copper Mountain. All the skiing is just 5-15 minutes away.
