Located at the top of Kingsbury Grade right on the Nevada/California border, at 7,500 ft., this comfortable 2-story townhome offers a panoramic view of Lake Tahoe, the surrounding mountains and valleys, and the Heavenly Valley ski area. This is a fully furnished 1800 sq. ft. townhome featuring 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. A large family room downstairs, with cable TV/VCR and game table, is separate from the quiet, comfortable living room upstairs with a free standing wood burning fireplace. The deck looks out across the lake and has a gas BBQ.
Parking is at street level, and with only 5 steps down to the covered front porch, access and entry is easy year around; NO STEEP DRIVEWAY.
There is a lockable ski locker on the front porch, next to the front door. The modern
fully furnished kitchen includes all dishes, cooking gear, silverware, and glassware.
The garden window over the kitchen sink looks directly at the ski runs at Heavenly
Valley's Boulder Lodge. Other ski areas - Squaw, Alpine Meadows, Sierra-At-Tahoe,
Kirkwood, etc. - are within a 30-60 minute drive. Fox & Hounds, a popular local sports
pub, is just a short walk.
A"7-11 type" convenience store is just 1/2 mile away. There are 2 major
supermarkets within 3 miles. It is 3-4 miles to the casinos, beaches, and Lake Tahoe area
restaurants, shopping and attractions. We are about a 60 min. drive from the Reno airport;
30 minutes from Ponderosa Ranch, and historic Carson City, the Nevada state capital.
