People may also see suggestions (like to add you as a friend or to follow you) associated with this name, username, avatar and profile picture across Facebook, Instagram and Meta Horizon.
If you sync profile information across your Facebook, Instagram or Meta Horizon profiles, changes you make to your profile information (such as your name, username, profile picture and avatar) will appear across all of your profiles with synced info.
If you remove an account from an Accounts Center, your profile info for profiles in that account will no longer sync.
Note that you can’t sync profile information from a Facebook, Instagram or Meta Horizon profile to another profile on the same product (for example, you can’t sync two Instagram profiles, or two Facebook profiles).
When you sync your profile picture, you can choose to use either your Facebook or Instagram profile picture across your accounts. The default picture will be the picture you most recently updated. To sync your profile pictures, you also have to sync your name.
In order to be able to sync a username, that username needs to be available on Facebook, Instagram, or Meta Horizon for the profiles you are trying to sync.
Changing your username will also change your Instagram account and Facebook timeline URLs.
