Zac Affleck is speaking out for the first time after his wife Jen filed for divorce.
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star, 27, filed for divorce from her husband, 30, after seven years of marriage on Tuesday, Nov. 3, per court filings obtained by PEOPLE. The filing comes just over four months after Jen announced she was pregnant with her fourth child with Zac, with whom she already shares 5-year-old daughter Nora, 3-year-old son Luca and 1-year-old daughter Penelope.
In an exclusive statement to PEOPLE, Zac says that he will "always be Jen's supporter."
"Hope she is happy in this next phase of life," continues the reality TV personality. "Just focusing on my kids and figuring out what's next for me."
A source told PEOPLE on Wednesday that Zac was "doing okay" after Jen's filing. "He and Jen are staying focused on preparing for the baby and supporting their kids," the source added.

The pair first met in 2018 through the Mormon dating app Mutual, got engaged in early 2019 and tied the knot in June of that year. Throughout their five seasons on the hit Hulu reality series, fans have gotten an inside look into several sticky moments in their relationship.

In the show's first season, which aired in 2024, viewers watched as they fought about Zac's gambling and her decision to potentially attend a Chippendales show in Las Vegas, which started to raise alarm bells about their marriage among their castmates.

They took time apart in their relationship during the second season as they discovered that Jen was pregnant with their third child. But through seasons 3 and 4, they reconciled and appeared as a unified front, even as they continued to grapple with marital tension.
In season 5, filmed in early 2026, viewers once again saw the pair clash — this time over Jen's career aspirations. During one moment, Jen claimed that Zac had threatened to divorce her if she took an acting role with an on-screen relationship; in another, Zac criticized her for wanting to appear in a Sports Illustrated photoshoot, calling it a magazine for "creepy old men who want to masturbate."
In August 2026, weeks before season 5 aired and 2 months after announcing that she was expecting baby no. 4, Jen told PEOPLE that she and her husband were spending a lot of time working on their relationship as she grappled with prenatal depression and medical issues during her first trimester.
"There's a lot that we've been navigating behind closed doors," she said, "but I do have to say, I wouldn't have survived the first trimester without him."
