MassBay Community College is hosting its annual All Vehicle Show from 8 a.m. to noon on Sunday, Sept. 14, at the MassBay Automotive Technology Center, 250 Eliot St., Ashland , according to a community announcement.
The event is free and open to all. Vehicle registration is $20, with proceeds supporting MassBay Automotive Technology student scholarships.
The show will feature a variety of vehicles, from 1930s roadsters to modern muscle cars and imports, according to the announcement. Visitors can vote for the Top People’s Choice Cars and Top Show Cars, while MassBay alumni can vote for Alumni Choice Awards.
The event is an opportunity for car enthusiasts to showcase their vehicles and for prospective students and the community to tour the Automotive Technology Center. Faculty members will demonstrate the center’s Dynapack dynamometer, which simulates various driving conditions to enhance students’ understanding of automotive performance, according to the announcement.
"Cruisin' Bruce" Palmer will return as the event’s DJ, playing classic tunes.
Individuals interested in showing their car can register on the morning of the event, according to the announcement. A $20 fee will be collected at the gate. All proceeds benefit the automotive students’ emergency fund, scholarships for students who do not qualify for free community college and tools for students when they are not provided as part of a student’s co-op program.
Sponsorship opportunities are available for dealerships, auto shops and other businesses that wish to support the MassBay automotive program and its students.
