Vegas AutoFest takes over Red Rock Country Club

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Cars on the Course! This morning, Good Day Las Vegas’ JC Fernandez was live at Red Rock Country Club for a preview of this weekend’s Vegas Autofest.

It’s a car show like no other, spread out across the 18th fairway and driving range.

JC was joined by JP Polnik and Romi Mirza from Vegas Autofest who shared all the details about the show. JP kicked things off by showing us what looks like a worn-out 2002 Mercedes-Benz, but this Benz has an incredible back story.

It once held the Cannonball Run record, making the drive from New York to San Francisco in just 29 hours and four minutes. One of its secrets? A massive 70-gallon gas tank was built into the trunk, which helped cut down on fuel stops during the cross-country race.

Romi broke down what visitors can expect this Saturday: up to 400 cars will be on display, including Lamborghinis, Ferraris, supercars, and even a Formula One Race Car. JC noticed a makeshift helicopter pad, and Romi pointed out that there will be helicopters on display as well.

It’s more than just a car show. JP shared that Vegas Autofest also benefits Shine a Light.

There is no parking at Red Rock Country Club. Everyone will park at Las Vegas Ballpark and take a shuttle to the country club. For those wanting the full VIP experience, ‘podium passes’ are available, and if you buy one of those, you’ll be driven to Vegas Autofest in a Ferrari.

Romi also showed us one of his personal entries, a 1994 Land Rover Defender with a  Corvette engine featuring 950 horsepower. He told us that this beast has so much power that if you really step on it, the Defender can almost pop a wheelie.

Along with the 2002 Mercedes-Ben,z there was a 1996 Porsche 993 RUF GT2, 1989 Porsche 934, and a 2025 Lamborghini Urus on display this morning.

Between the cars, entertainment, giveaways, and charity connection, Vegas Autofest at Red Rock Country Club is shaping up to be a can’t-miss event.
