After 10 successful years in business, on 12/31/13 The Waterhouse opened in this new location which offers four venues! The venues at The Waterhouse are: Warehouse Room - Exposed brick walls, hardwood floor, tin tile ceiling, and wood poles. Seating up to 200. Ballroom - Elegant banquet space with an indoor balcony with urban downtown views through the glass Atrium and an outdoor balcony with a beautiful view of the Illinois River. Seating up to 300. The Grand Army of the Republic Hall, commonly known as the GAR Hall, is a historic building in the heart of Peoria, that can be rented out to host private celebrations. Established in 1909, it was erected to commemorate the soldiers who fought the American Civil War. Hewitt & Emerson firm designed this structure in the Revival style. Beautiful woodwork, early 20th-century embellishments and stained glass, will add a historical charm to your event.
