La Farine
Come in the morning when the freshly baked odors of sugar, cinnamon, and sour dough literally draw in passersby and form lines out the door. Baguettes, loaves, cookies and croissants, cakes and tortes, all have a slightly French accent and are delicious. Mornings draw a loyal following of locals eager for the first croissants and cinnamon buns out of the oven. There are only a few chairs and one table, so come in a robe and slippers and take your treats back home.

We specialize in fresh, hand-made pastries and strong drip coffee. Nearly all of our products are organic and local. Some of our most popular items include the gooey Morning Bun, the huge Blueberry Buttermilk scone, and the savory Ham & Cheese Croissant. We also have delicious cookies, fresh fruit pies, and several lunch options (pizza, soup, quiche, etc.). We currently have a handful of options for “alternative diets” and are striving to develop more recipes for people who eat vegan only or try to avoid wheat or sugar.
