Amazing food and boba tea

Cha Community

Cha Community is an Asian American, immigrant, and woman-owned boba tea small business with a mission of bridging cultures and creating community. We have three shops - one in downtown Waco, one in Downtown Temple, and our newest shop on 8th St in Waco across Baylor University campus. Our Downtown Waco and Temple shops have both boba tea and food service and our 8th St shop is a boba tea bar experience with a sip and shop experience with local woman-owned vintage business Coco’s Closet! At Coco’s you’ll find vintage and premium designer secondhand finds, including unique clothes, shoes, and accessories! Please note: We begin tapioca boba service at 11am at our shops as it takes about 2 hours for us to prepare and cook the boba. We have adjusted summer hours and open our shops earlier during the Baylor school year on weekdays/Saturdays to allow for guests to order tea and drinks without tapioca boba.

Cha Community

Cha Community (formerly Waco Cha) is an fast-casual Asian American and immigrant-owned boba tea cafe based in Waco, Texas. We strive to use premium loose-leaf teas and in-house ingredients. Our mission is to build bridges and create community through premium boba, pan fried dumplings and Taiwanese and Chinese food. Our first storefront is located in downtown Waco and our 2 mobile food trucks pop-up for catering & community events, including at the Waco Downtown Farmer's Market each Saturday morning. We also have a second boba tea cafe in downtown Temple. We offer catering options for both our boba tea drinks, pan-fried dumplings alongside other Taiwanese and Chinese food options including Taiwanese Cold Noodles, Braised Pork Belly over rice, curry rice, and more!
