Sattvik Dhaba was started in 2021 during the COVID pandemic by a father-daughter duo, Rakesh Sharma and Ruby Sharma. Cooking has always been our passion. From 2003 to 2010, we ran an Indian restaurant in San Jose, and now we bring the same dedication to serving fresh and delicious vegetarian Indian Punjabi food. Rakesh Sharma is our head chef, and Ruby specializes in preparing chaat items and weekend specials. We regularly introduce new recipes every few months to keep things exciting. Our menu features a variety of dishes, including pastas, gobhi Manchurian, noodles, ragda chaat, chili paneer, sandwiches and paneer lababdar on weekends. Fresh chaat is also served every weekend, with our pani puri stall being a customer favorite. Daily specials include chole bhature, combo thalis, and vegetable containers for families. We take pride in offering fresh, homemade sweets, never using packaged or frozen options. Our food is prepared fresh every morning, and we change the menu daily to offer variety. We also provide catering services for all occasions, including special pujas or Jain gatherings, with options for dishes made without onion and garlic.
