Doula Services: I provide the expectant couple with physical, emotional, and informational support and encouragement for their personal birth preferences. You want a great experience! There's a lot of conflicting information and emotions to wade through. My role as a doula is to help you find your way to the birth experience that you really want. Childbirth Classes: Busy couples get prepared for a positive natural birth experience in one intensive weekend. Covered topics include the physiology of normal birth, natural comfort techniques, being an informed consumer, benefits and risks of common interventions and medications, practical ways for dad (or other birth partner!) to help mom, and making an effective birth plan.
