Ziji's mission is to create a rich, meaningful, embodied educational journey for Kindergarten, First and Second grade children. We embrace play, believing that there is an organic transition from play to study available to each child. How a child plays becomes how they think. When play and academics are brought into balance, a child's inner unfolding is not sidetracked, nor who they are and what they love discounted. Children integrate their experiences through play, thus making the content of their lessons their own. Through a balance of play and study we cultivate the student's wonder, empathy, creativity and joy of learning.
