Another fantastic workshop with Vlad. Beautiful day at Burns Court with fellow watercolor artist. With Vads tutelage I feel like I'm looking at my creative process with a new set of eyes. Thanks Vad

The Renaissance School of Art offers a variety of classes and workshops for adults, teens and children. If you are lucky enough to be in one of his classes, you will find Vlad Yeliseyev is an amazing and talented watercolorist who teaches with passion and humor. He adjusts up and down to meet each students level and provides fabulous feedback. I highly recommend! If you are visiting, or local to Sarasota check the website to see what is going on!

Since I retired about a year ago, I have been exploring my inner artist, actually seeing if one even exists. Renaissance School of Art has been a great place for that. The drawing class I have taken with Vlad has been great. He is an internationally acclaimed watercolorist; the real deal. He teaches the craft of drawing, the foundation for almost everything. His explanation, insights and assistance have been so helpful. I am looking forward to taking other classes with him. The School brings in other famous artists for workshops and special events throughout the year. Even better, Renaissance School has open studio times so you can meet, practice with and learn from others. They also have figure drawing with live models once a week and are affiliated with SRQ Plein Air Painters. A nice part of SRQPAP is the informal critique of participants' work after each gathering. If you have any interest in advancing your skills, meeting and socializing with other artists, this is the place.

Whether you participate in a one-day workshop or sign up for a series of classes, you will not be disappointed. I was invited to join a painting party last year, and I have been taking drawing and watercolor classes at the Renaissance School of Art since then. Vlad is an amazing artist and excellent instructor. He is informative, funny and encouraging. I have learned so much this past year. I would highly recommend this school to anyone has ever considered exploring his or her artistic side.
