The duck tours can be very nice and fun but if you gat a bad guide, it seems like a waste of time and money. I've been on it several times but this time, on Old Glory with Max Marshal Arch, we had to endure very little information along the way, a lot of sarcastic jabbering by the guide, he played to a few kids but was totally uninteresting, in fact annoying with his sense of humor but no one laughed. My guests were not complimentary and my tour by car giving a personal tour was 10x's better. Many of the guides are very informative and fun, but not this one. Thursday, 1:30 boat. Waste of several hundred $'s.

Great fun for adults & kids. Lots of interesting facts intertwined with jokes. Our guide Prof Quackenstein was entertaining, knowledgeable and easy to listen to - he made a huge fuss of the little kids on board and they even got to steer the boat for a short time while on the river - and he impressed all with his juggling skills ! Perfect for families with kids who get bored easily on traditional tours.

I specifically chose a tour time based on the available seats that could give me the first row and changed my plans accordingly. But when we boarded the tour I was told “the computer changed your seats” and we were in row 7. The representative was aggressive and very disrespectful and clearly didn’t care about our experience. If they don’t respect the assigned seats they should simply not promise them when booking.

Awesome adventure! Actually, it was a rainy day, but that didn't stop the duck tour. We went for a trip around Boston with the guide highlighting historic things. I can't remember his name, but he was funny and the tour was interesting. Then the cool thing is that this bus went into the Charles River ( it's a car bus and a boat)! Very unique experience, lots to see! It was fun and I'd do the tour again if we are ever back in Boston.

Great tour, fantastic guide with brilliant esoteric knowledge of Boston and history ( and of 7-11’s) . Wasn’t busy but end of season. Great with kids of all ages. Loved the experience.
