tripadvisorI had the most positive experience with the restaurant staff, especially Ilir, who is a very professional and friendly member of the restaurant staff
MoreWe spent five nights at the Seaport Boston Hotel while in town for HYROX Boston, and I can honestly say this will be one of our go-to hotels for future visits! We travel to Boston frequently, but this was our first time staying in the Seaport District. We typically stay near TD Garden, so we weren’t quite sure what to expect from a different part of the city. It was a pleasant surprise! While we love the energy of downtown Boston, the Seaport area offered a completely different atmosphere. It felt less hectic, quieter, and more relaxed, while still having plenty to see and do nearby. It was such a nice change of pace, especially after long, busy days. One of my favorite things about the location was being so close to the waterfront. We really enjoyed the atmosphere of the neighborhood and how it offered a peaceful escape from the busier parts of Boston without feeling disconnected from everything. The hotel’s location was also incredibly convenient. There are shops, restaurants, and plenty of places to explore nearby, making it easy to enjoy the area without having to venture far. Be sure to stop at PopUp Bagels for some amazing fresh out of the oven bagels! Also stop at Van Leeuwen Ice Cream. Everything there is amazing. You must try Honeycomb which is their signature flavor (it doesn’t contain honey, surprisingly!). You have to stop at Ralph Lauren’s coffee shop called Ralph’s Coffee for some specialty coffees! Another huge plus was how easy it was to access I-93! Anyone familiar with driving in Boston knows how much of a difference that can make. Getting in and out of the city was surprisingly straightforward, which we really appreciated. We also had a wonderful experience dining at the hotel’s restaurant. The food was delicious, and the service made the experience even better. A special shoutout to Mirzet, our waiter, who truly stood out during our stay! He was incredibly friendly, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely hospitable. He had such a warm personality and made us feel like valued guests rather than just another table. It’s always refreshing to encounter someone who clearly takes pride in providing excellent service and making people feel comfortable. Mirzet’s kindness and professionalism left a lasting impression, and he deserves recognition for the wonderful hospitality he provides.Overall, our five-night stay was a fantastic experience. Between the quieter waterfront location, the convenience of the surrounding neighborhood, easy highway access, great food, and exceptional hospitality, the Seaport Boston Hotel really won us over. After staying in the TD Garden area so many times, I’m glad we decided to try something different. We absolutely loved the change of scenery and would definitely stay here again on a future trip to Boston.Highly recommend the Seaport Boston Hotel, and if you dine at the restaurant, hopefully you’ll have the pleasure of being served by Mirzet!
MoreLove the location, easy walking around the area. We are cruising and stayed here for the location and sightseeing before the cruise. Hotel is beautiful and the staff is 5*. Food and staff are very friendly and accommodating. Rooms are big and comfortable. I would stay here again. Highly recommend.
MoreRoom was lovely although I was hoping for walk-in shower. Perhaps more hand rails on wall and better bath mat. Staff were lovely, always smiling although the reception desk needs more than one person as the concierge desk isn’t manned all the time. It’s a lovely area and the quays are great to walk along. As an asthma sufferer there was too much aircon in the hotel for me. The hotel bar is lovely although it needs background music. Breakfast wasn’t included in our price with Trivago and I think the hotel only do room only. Food is excellent. Would definitely recommend.
MoreElevator issue with one elevator resulted in staff removing it from service, and a sign was posted in front of that elevator on the lobby floor. So unknown to us the next morning ready to head to the airport, we got on the first elevator to reach us on the 17th floor - And it turned out to be the malfunctioning one! No signage at all on the 17th floor! When we pressed the lobby button to go down, the elevator stopped with a jolt and a loud thud on the 16th floor. We pressed the lobby button again, and nothing happened. We began to feel trapped! After a few more tries, it started with another jolt and went all the way to the lobby, thank God! When we reported this to the front desk, the response was not one of concern. The staff member was nonchalant, saying only that the same thing had just happened to another guest - but no concern was expressed about the event. My question is - why were there no signs about the elevator issues on each of the floors, and why such a low level of concern when we reported the issue? Above all else, this event speaks volumes about safety priorities at this hotel. We have stayed here several times before, but we won't be back.
