I had a wonderful time at this hotel, and I really want to thank the team for such a lovely stay. The service was exceptional across the board. Every staff member I interacted with was welcoming, always smiling, and eager to help. I’d love to give a special mention to S, who was absolutely incredible and really went out of their way to make my stay perfect. Highly recommend!

Great location, impeccable attention to detail, and the front desk staff are fantastic. S is especially wonderful he took the time to give me suggestions on what to see in Boston.

Beautiful room, courteous and helpful staff. Lack of early breakfast options did not fit with my schedule.

We booked Hotel Commonwealth for our honeymoon (we're not from MA) and stayed here from October 10 to 14, 2026, because it's in such a nice location, quiet, clean, spacious, and very convenient, as the subway is just below the building. You won't get hungry or thirsty at all since Dunkin' Donuts, 7-Eleven, and McDonald's are just right there in the corner, too! The hotel also has some nice Boston Red Sox memorabilia, and it's the perfect place to stay for any Red Sox fans and Boston tourists! I would also say that the area is safe, too. We were greeted by Mr. S., S for being SUPER friendly and SO helpful! Excellent service! ^_^ He made sure we got all of our needs taken care of, and he gave us a reusable souvenir water bottle and some delicious house-made potato chips, which I recommend for everyone to try! When we got to our room, it was absolutely clean and spacious. The bed was super comfy, and they got the best pillows ever. I am not going to lie, their pillows made me fall asleep nicely. I asked for extra pillows because I am the type of person who feels so comfy surrounded with pillows. The bathroom was really nice, too. Though the fan wasn't working, it didn't bother us anyway. Some people can be really loud, but it's somehow tolerable. Can't control them if they slam their doors shut. Still giving it 5 stars.Oh, and I also asked for some slippers because I forgot to bring some, and the material and quality of the slippers were really nice, too! Thanks to the staff who gave it to us (dunno his name, but it was like the evening of October 11th).Overall, our stay was really amazing and managed our expectations for our honeymoon. When we checked out, it was Mr. S who helped us with everything. Again, excellent service from him. Please tell him that he really did a great job, and we would love to see him and accommodate us again on our next visit. :DMy husband and I look forward to booking again at Hotel Commonwealth. We really enjoyed our stay in the hotel as well as in Boston. Until next time!~T + A from Pittsburgh, PA. <3

Hotel was clean and comfortable, with very friendly front desk staff and comfortable beds. The location right by the subway was convenient for getting around Boston, although there wasn’t a lot within easy walking distance. We enjoyed our stay, but felt the hotel was a little pricier than it should be.
