The Paradise Rock Club Night Club ·$$

Mainly a venue for rock 'n' roll acts, Paradise Rock Club draws a partying crowd in their late 20s and early 30s. If you do not want to dance, comfortable couches upstairs allow pleasant observation of all the goings-on downstairs. Prominent acts who have made appearances include Bare Naked Ladies, Flaming Lips, the Wallflowers, Goo Goo Dolls, and Jack Johnson.

the staff is incredibly rude I would not go here again AT ALL. All of the security employees act like they have large rubber sticks in their butts at all times. So rude for no reason. They kicked my friend and I out because he is underage and was holding my drink while I went to the bathroom..

I mean everyone and their mother knows about the strict rules this place has. So no surprise when you get a bad review because you don’t accommodate smokers. Pretty easy just to put a pad outside and let people smoke. You have already made it no re-entry. Yeah I get it. But what’s the problem with vapes. Just sucks.

The Paradise Rock Club was a fun venue to experience The White Buffalo. Security was good and all of the staff we met were awesome. The floor was filled up by the time the main act came on. The balcony views offer less limited views but is the only area that has minimal seating. Overall we had a great time and would return to this venue again.

Tonight was the last time I will be seeing a show at Paradise Rock Club regardless of how badly I want to see the act. The staff is incredibly rude, with one id checker telling me “he didn’t care about my ticket and take it inside”, instead of a simple “your ticket will be scanned inside.” Let’s not forget the ticket scanner screaming completely opposite directions than what was being said by the person conducting security screenings with the walkthrough metal detector. Ok. Best of all, we had seats for a show with tickets I purchased from Stubhub, that mind you, scanned correctly and granted me entry. However when I went to the table staffed by two rude young women who hopefully don’t get paid a high hourly wage because their customer service was a total joke, proceeded to tell me that I could not get a wristband for our seats because my ID didn’t match the buyer on the ticket. But being so generous, she told us we would have to stand on the balcony on the second floor. Throughout this whole process I was not granted any eye contact, no solution for any help, no offer to find a manager, just a casual too bad and a lecture about how I “shouldn’t be purchasing tickets from stub hub.” I proceeded to inquire if other purchasers from stub hub had the same problem to a basic shrug and I don’t know. What if the tickets were a gift ? Would I not have been able to sit in the seats that I paid for because I didn’t have the ID of the purchase who originally bought the tickets ? So the whole night we got to see our empty seats from a crummy obstructed view on the balcony for which I paid to avoid. The fact that it was preferred to leave our seats empty because “I Shouldn’t be purchasing tickets from stub hub” on tickets that scanned and gained us entry to the venue makes me think that the person working the ticket counter was petty and decided to make up her own company policy on the fly. Was she trying to teach me a lesson because if so, lesson learned to not come back to this garbage establishment. Ridiculous.
