Mi Antojo Mexican Restaurant Mexican Restaurant ·$

Mi Antojo Mexican Restaurant began as a small kitchen with only three tables in the dining room. There were no menus, no signs, and the two items sold were tacos and pupusas. The owner, Javiar, was the only person running the place while his wife took care of their children. Soon enough, word spread, and Javiar began to build a customer base and an established menu and larger dining area followed. In 2005, he was able to expand the whole first floor of the building to include a larger kitchen, bar, and eating space. Wanting to share his culture with the community, Javiar eventually started a Cinco de Mayo festival with a live mariachi band, mechanical bull, a variety of authentic Mexican food, and (of course) "Corona bien fria." Now, the restaurant has become a family affair with everyone (including the kids) lending a hand to help keep the Mi Antojo legacy alive and well.

Not so pleased with my meal! Was not flavorful and they definitely skimp out on the meat in the al pastor tacos!

I read in another review that this place served beef tongue burritos, and I really wanted to taste one. The trip was not worth the effort. Atmosphere was a zero, service was 2*, and the food was...
