Reviews
tripadvisorThis place is in a great location. There are plenty of activities and entertainment within walking distance on most weekends, and there are seasonal sports and expo events nearby. Makes for a fun trip with groups of friends.
MoreWe stayed at the Westin, which was the host hotel for the Talladega Jack Links 500 group organized by On Location. It’s considered one of the top hotels in Birmingham, The staff was consistently friendly and helpful, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The location is a big plus—right in downtown, making it easy to walk to nearby downtown attractions and several good restaurants just steps away. Our room was spacious enough for comfort, and the bed was perfectly fine for a good night’s rest.Overall, it’s a solid choice if you’re looking for a convenient and comfortable place to stay in Birmingham.
MoreNice centrally located hotel. Room was clean. Nice gym and concierge lounge available at the Sheraton next door. Platinum member impressed with the level of service from Will at the front desk.
MoreThe hotel is dirty. My room had carpet stains, mold on the furniture, and the hall way smells of cigarettes and marijuana. The bar and restaurant are only open at night, so plan to eat and drink off property during the day. The TV in the room is very small compared to today’s standards. There is one person at the check in desk on a busy Friday afternoon -so expect to be 8-10 people deep in the wait line- regardless of your Marriott status. This is not a typical Westin Hotel property.
MoreGreat experience with a fantastic upgrade. Convenient to the BJCC. Room service was good. Coffee shop in lobby excellent. Upgraded to hospitality suite which was HUGE, great entertaining space even if furniture is a little worn. My daughter didn’t notice, to her this suite was rock star worthy. Huge main bathroom with tons of counter space for getting ready, along with smaller guest nah off the living room. Two mini fridges also a plus, plenty of room for storing what we needed. This room would be great space for a girls weekend!
