41st Street Pub & Aircraft Sales Bar & Pub ·$$

41st Street Pub & Aircraft Sales may have a funny name, but it is a great neighborhood bar offering all kinds of great features to its guests. The full bar features all your favorite classic cocktails (they make a killer Moscow Mule), brews and even gluten-free beer. They show Auburn and Alabama games, but otherwise they keep the TVs off. For entertainment, they encourage you to take advantage of their shuffleboard tables, board games and cozy seating areas perfect for lively conversations with friends. They don't serve food, but they allow you to bring in your own so you can have exactly what you want. As for the aircraft sales, there is a bulletin board where people can post their small aircrafts for sale.

Dropped by the spend a little time before picking up someone from the airport. What a place. 5-6 couches. Booths. 2 shuffleboards. A vintage video arcade game. Some sort of golf video game. Darts. Dozens of drafts, Even more cans/bottles. Specialty Moscow mules and on and on. Tremendous bartender. No food, except for some popcorn, but this is a must do.

Not sure how a place in Birmingham gets to be known for amazing Moscow mules, but they've done it. Had a local friend bring us in for a couple and they were spot-on. Started our night at Avondale Brewing company ... 41st street is is a great place to travel to if you're not done with your night. :)

Visited the bar on a friday night. We went early and didn't have any trouble getting drinks at the bar. The bartender was knowledgeable and friendly. I had always heard this was the place for moscow mules but was confused when I only saw one mule on the menu. Apparently, they can do whatever flavor vodka you want in your mule. Switched up a few drinks and that was great! They had a food truck out front and you could bring your food inside or eat outside at the patio area. Lots of space for friends and hanging out. Also, they have excellent shuffleboards and dart boards. We'll be back!

We were in the area searching for a venue for a wedding rehearsal dinner. Though we were there on a weekend, the bartender was able to show us the venue and we booked the location. It's absolutely perfect!!!! We had been across the street at the brewery, but after waiting 10 minutes at the bar no one came over to us. (there were 3 of us). So, we walked across the street and were happily served a nice cold beer, and some other libations (can't remember...but everyone was super happy. Perhaps it was the Moscow mule...I drank beer) So, we're looking forward to our rehearsal dinner there.
