We have supported this theater for many years since the 80's. This year is the 55th year that it has shared its theatrical and musical performances with the local area. Currently, there are 2 venues...the address on this website is the Downtown Building which opened in 2015. That venue is generally open in the fall, winter, and spring with some theatrical as well as musical acts.In the summer, CRT is up at the beautiful pavilion on Little York Lake. Each summer it has 5-6 professional productions, as well as September musical concerts each Wednesday. 55 years is a long time, for what started as a local theater community, to still be in existence. It is a testament to the creative staff, and hardworking volunteers.Both venues are also rented out for gatherings and weddings.

We attended a private retirement party at the this venue - our first time at this location. The venue is wonderful! Parking is adequate. The building is very nice. The private event area was large and spacious - had a staffed, limited-selection bar. There was a stage for live entertainment. The backdrop of the room was done in black - which made photos at the event WONDERFUL! Sound quality was great. Staff were friendly. We can't wait to return and see a show at this venue - everyone raves over it!!!

Excellent performance. Plenty of paved parking, old bowling alley renovated to the tune of 2.5 million dollars, air conditioned, serving beer, wine, cookie of the play and other eats. Extremely easy to locate and near main street if one wishes shopping, eats, drinks, etc... This play was moved from Little Lake pavilion to give attendees a visit to this theater to view and it's where all fall and winter productions take place instead of in Little York. We saw Rat Pack Lounge there and what a performance. Maybe only 5 cast members but what a performance they all put on. Excellent music for all the performance. Well groomed bathroom facilities which were extremely clean. Have been attending plays at the Little York pavilion for several years now but our first visit to this Port Watson theater. A return is in the cards. All the female staff were pleasant, friendly and personal. The plays manager even held the door for all attending and again for patrons exit. A gem especially in the Finger Lakes. We highly recommend one attend some performance! We plan on. Both Little York and Port Watson. Always a great time attending and maybe the stars of the future?

Sold out matinee performance of Footloose was fabulous. The theatre brings you back to days past and the setting is beautiful--on Little York Lake. The talent of all the actors was amazing, the singing terrific, and choreography awesome. It was a great afternoon. We've gone to several performances and will go again in September for the last one and definitely will go next year. It's great to have a theatre like this in central New York!
