A personal favorite, the gondola tied up with the Italian flag overhead.

Marcello was flawless. He arrived early to get things ready and met us at the dock. He was friendly and thoroughly pleasant. A few years ago I broke my foot stepping into a boat, so I was a little nervous. He was careful and patient with me. John and I loved our ride, on a gorgeous cloudless day, punctuated by Marcello's stories and songs (including an Italian birthday wish). We took some beautiful pictures and had a truly lovely afternoon. 100% would recommend, whether you are a tourist or a local. We may need to rebook with the family or just another trip for the two of us. What a way to spend part of your day. Just lovely.

The gondola ride was a wonderful experience in itself, but then we went under a bridge and our gondolier saying Santa Lucia, and I swear it was as good as Bocelli or Pavarotti. His name is John Carlos, and I believe if you ever have this experience you it will be memorable.

Gondola trip was an amazing experience. It felt like we were in Venice. The gondolier, Jean Carlo, was singing beautifully. The violin was playing. It was super romantic. What an incredible highlight of being in Providence

We had a lovely experience riding in a gondola during Waterfire in Providence on August 29th. We were given Italian cookies and glasses for the beverages we were allowed to bring on board. Blankets were available, but it was a warm evening. The gondolier was very nice, though I could not hear him because of the music they play during Waterfire. I would do it again.

We had a lovely gondola ride during Waterfire on August 29th. There were 6 family members on our gondola. The staff gave us Italian cookies and glasses for the beverages we brought with us. Blankets were available but it was a warm evening. The biggest challenge was finding the boat launch in the city. The gondolier was very nice. I would do it again.
