the Lordship community fancies itself as the Nantucket of Bridgeport, but if you know what Bridgeport is all about (yech) you know what a joke that is. But they can't quite get their noses far enough up in the air to escape the generalized smell of sewage that make Stratford, Stratford. Stratford is basically just a sub-area of Bridgeport, so Lordship sees itself as the Nantucket of Bridgeport - which is kind of comical and sad, would be comical except it's really what they think. A dirty, mean little corner of Bridgeport, basically - with wanna-be snobs.

This offers a great view. Parking is a major issue though. Additionally, when we went there was some major road construction going on which added to the traffic congestion.

Can't use a public resource, without getting a $50 ticket. Will never visit or support any busy in this town again. Don't bring your family to enjoy a short walk on the beach, then some snacks at Riley's or Little Pub, without getting a ticket.. Wonderful parking issues here. And there's more business coming in to make a terrible parking situation worse.

this is a nice spot to park the car and take a walk if you are someone who enjoys walking by the water. We went on a Monday afternoon around 4 pm and there was plenty of parking. I imagine parking would be tight on a Friday night or a weekend.

This is a wonderful spot to go for a walk or just sitting there on a bench to overlook the sound. It's a quiet place with many residents enjoying it, going to the restaurants, strolling or walking their dogs.
