The front desk staff very friendly, extremely patient and accommodating as we needed to change rooms. Location is convenient. Otherwise rooms are in need of update. One elevator bank not working. Carpets in need of deep cleaning. No coffee available until morning breakfast when requested at hotel restaurant at only 6pm in the evening. Gym is nominal. Didn’t use pool. This hotel will meet basic needs for short stay but could do better for the price point. Have stayed at other Hilton garden inns that were much fresher. This property is average at best.

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!! This was by far my worst experience with a Hilton hotel. On the first day, the WiFi didn’t work. The next morning, there was no hot water and I had to take a cold shower. The entrance door at the far end of the hotel was unlocked for our entire stay. The one working ice machine on the 2nd floor stopped working on the second day of our stay. I did a load of laundry on our last night and the dryer was terrible. Even though I ran it twice, my clothes weren’t dry. I was forced to dry my clothes with the hair dryer in the room at 11:30 at night. The staff at the hotel said there was nothing they could do and directed my request to the general manager, Steven Haight. I emailed Haight twice and have not received any response.

Somewhat sad condition. Outside is nice, but the room left a lot to be desired. Regular Hilton brand fan, but not this time. Room needed paint and other makeovers, new mattress, etc. Bathroom toilet seat was loose enough to come off. Hot water was beyond insanely hot. None of the ice makers had ice and appeared to be disconnected from water. Overall too many issues to ignore.

The Good:Chris at the front desk was very helpful & friendly. The chef (May 29) was very cheerful and helpful. It was a 2 minute walk to the excellent Oak and Almond.-The Bad:Broken elevator with NO repair work evidenced during our 3 weekday stay.No in-room safes.Premium charges totaling about $250 per night. I’ve had better rooms and breakfasts for $135 per night.Rude service by Michael - the breakfast attendant: refused to refill the courtesy water jar in the lobby.Additional charges to use the exercise roomRefused to permit a 1-hour small group gathering in an unused conference room area, and even then there would have been a significant charge for rental. The breakfast menu was comprehensive and reasonably priced, however the food was only warm and the coffee cold. Scrambled eggs were cool, sausage and potatoes were dried out.Multiple duplicate charges were logged by my Bank during our stay and the final receipt sent to me by eMail was woefully incomplete. We had a total of 6 rooms booked against my Hilton Honors account (2 of our 4 families needed an adjoining double room), yet only ONE of the bills for our four family groups was sent to me. That receipt was undecipherable as to which charges were linked to each of the linked double / connected rooms. I now expect this will take weeks of financial disentanglements to clarify.

We made our reservation 2mo ths before going and called to asking the pool would be open. They said it would be open April 1st after maintenance. We showed up to check in and the rude and unkempt front desk women told us that they were shut down till the 31st. When I said that was unacceptable the unproffesional barely literate front desk decided to argue with me over a refund for cancelation. They changed the opening date after we booked without telling any of their reservations about the change. The usual suspects running the asylum. Place looked like it was rife with crime from the staff. Avoid at all costs.
