Located on Stamford Harbor, Stamford Yacht Club is the place to be for all sailing enthusiasts and those who enjoy trips through the vast blue sea. Built with the intent of promoting recreational sailing and build a network of avid sailors, this club conducts regular workshops wherein you can learn the basics of sailing from experienced navy officers. Also playing host to a myriad of seasonal sailboat races, including the popular labor day, Vineyard Race, sailors from across the country, come here to have a shot at winning the coveted prize. Besides sailing several activities for kids such as diving, water polo, swimming and tennis are also organised here.
