tripadvisorAbsolute trash. Worst of the worst. If I could rate it in the negatives I would.
MoreI came by to pick up a car in the center in the morning. I was a bit early so I ended up walking around the mall. It was quite nice and did have a large number of interesting stores. There is also a foodcourt and movies at the top floor. Most of the stores weren't open yet since I was there early. There was quite a lot of parking spaces in the lot. The mall had free Wifi but was limited to the central area. It was a nice place to walk around. The central area also has an elevator and the wing has escalators. There is a walkway from the Newport Station to the mall through the Newport Office Tower, but I only found out when I was leaving and following the signs in the mall. There is a train from Manhattan that goes to Newport Station so it is quite accessible from there.
MoreI know now they let dogs in the malls even if they're not support dogs, they sit and eat at the table and sometimes walk up to people and sniff them. I have nothing against dogs and I know in this new world, people consider dogs people, but a dog needs to stay in a dogs place, at the owners home.
MoreIt’s a very nice laid back mall where you can shop and relax. Very clean and organized. There is a variety of stores and several shops for coffee and drinks
MoreEl Jibarito restaurant.I was in town for business and needed some good Spanish food. This place got high praise from others, so I had to try it. I was staying nearby and decided to walk. I didn't know there was a mall in this area and definitely didn't know there was a good restaurant in the mall. I walked around, looking for this location. I finally found a mall worker and asked where this was. He said, on the 3rd floor, in the food court. What? I was not really in the mood for food court food. The guy took me to the restaurant and introduced me to the owner, Ralph. Ralph took really good care of me. He served up some rice and gandules and pollo quisado. I also got a side of yuca in garlic. The serving was huge. Enough for two people easy. The food was phenomenal. The taste was spot on. Just like momma used to make. Ralph is the cook, and he does a great job. The service was excellent. This is no ordinary food court eatery. They could have a brick and mortar location easily. Good food. Good service. Shopping before or after a meal. Can't ask for much more. I recommend. The mall seems OK, btw.
