We stayed at 117 22nd Ave seaside park, the host was rude, the outside was not taken care off, inside was nice but beds uncomfortable. Other homes in the area much nicer. Don't leave food in fridge, make sure you strip the beds and make sure you check out on time

Looks nice but if you have a service animal unless you don't mind being harassed by law enforcement avoid at all cost. When we went to complain the officer we talked to confirmed they will continue to ask what the dog is doing for you in turn making you tell them what your disability is which is against federal laws my husband doesn't mind showing he is a service dog carries a card to prove it but to be grilled with questions like he is a criminal it can ruin the reason you go to the beach in the first place. We stop coming here for the exact reason over 8 years ago I see things haven't changed. We will go to the southern areas where they know how to treat people with service animals. This makes me very sad.

I reached there a day before Easter. It was kind of an off day. Most if the shops were closed and even the opened ones were closed by 8pm. Beach is nice and clean

One of the nicest beaches, the water is perfect looks tropical at times, there is n entrance fee per person, but I save with Season passes, beach here is very clean and quite. I live in North Jersey and love the Jersey shore. Also for a parking fee Island state park is wonderful as well.

Our family visited for a week during mid June, pre busy season. We were very impressed with how peaceful and how well the town maintains the beach. Lifeguards were not visible everyday (although beach patrol would drive down every so often). Beachgoers were a mix of older residents getting sun, families with elementary school aged kids running in and out of the cold water, and teenaged groups talking and doing somersaults in the sand. The waves were surprisingly strong (riptide warnings were posted at each entrance) which made for good boogie boarding. Seaside Park was a perfect home base for a relaxing shore trip; a great beach that was close, but not too close, to the action at the boardwalk.
