If you're looking for an old-fashioned neighborhood pastry store, Veniero's is the place to be. Since 1894, this shop has sold tarts, cannoli, sfogliatelle, tiramisu, etc., the list is nearly endless. During his lifetime, its founder, Anthony Veniero won awards in Rome, Bologna and at the New York World's Fair of 1939. The Veniero family still runs the business and by the looks of the constant influx of people, it probably will exist until 2094.
