Explore each floor, don’t just make a quick visit to the first floor! It has categories of books that I have never seen highlighted before. The mezzanine has a great NYC section for adults and kids! I spent much longer here than I intended and was glad I did.

MoreIt’s amazing that this bookstore that has been open since the 1920’s is still open and so popular! The store was full-of people when w e visited. The 3rd floor has rare books on specific days. There is a basement level as well They have a huge selection of souvenirs and bookish merch. This is a bucket list place to add for book lovers.
MoreWhenever I come here, I leave with too many books. This is a very large store with both new and used books. Lots to choose from and they have staff to help you find what you like. It is a community institution.
