“Six the Musical” was beautiful! However the ushers at the theater were annoying. Two of them came up and down the aisle of this small theater flashing their very bright flashlight across the audience, throughout the entire performance. This was very distracting to say the least! I guess they were upset that some patrons were photographing with their smart phones. There has got to be a better way to police this.

Lovely classic style theatre was like being in the west end, watched the performance of SIX and it was spectacular, would have happily gone and seen it again,fabulous

This is a small but beautiful theatre. We saw SiX here 4 times in one week. We were on the second row each time. Our seats were very comfortable, and the view from each seat was great. The sound system worked well. The theatre is themed perfectly for the show. The lobby is a bit small and can be cramped when the show's store is open, but the staff does a good job directing traffic. The theatre is intimate and chances are every seat has a decent view for this particular musical. By the way, SiX is so good and a must-see! It's perfect in this space.

SIX is not a traditional Broadway musical, but it's a highly-entertaining song-and-dance performance by an all-women cast and musicians. The premise is clever: exploring King Henry VIII's six wives' lives from THEIR perspective, rather than from the King's and histories written by men. It's infused with a defiant feminist perspective, an ingenious conjecture that speculates how the wives might have told their story had they lived to do so.We're glad we had previewed the score's music and lyrics before seeing the show, because we'd surely have missed some of the sexual innuendo amid the dazzling costumes and lights. (This is a young-audience show, which, like Hamilton, attracts viewers who have memorized the lyrics before even getting to the theater.)There is no scenery. The stage is splayed with constantly flashing-and-changing lights, and the six wives are always in motion, interspersing their musical stories with smart-ass remarks, shorthand and LOLs as if they were telling their stories through social media. (Indeed, one scene depicts King Henry's selection of one of his wives as if she had been on a dating app.) The singers repeatedly speak directly to the audience, deliberately ignoring the fourth wall customary in Broadway shows. Two electric guitarists, a drummer and an electric piano player are permanently positioned on the stage.The Brooks Atkinson Theatre itself is a beautiful work of art. Be sure to leave time to admire its meticulous restoration before the show by gazing up at the ceiling and the walls. The stage is intimate, and most seating feels close to the performers. Logistics are inconvenient; reaching restrooms generally involves climbing up-and-down steep stairs. Most patrons complied with the theater's pandemic mask requirements during our performance.This is a fun show to take in.

Had ticket for six via Ticketmaster which did not load correctly on my phone for entry. Huge shout out to staff who hustled me to box office who efficiently produced my ticket. Loved theater size, intimate so most seats good view of stage. Impressed with staff and building itself.
