Attended Minksoff theatre on 17th September to watch Lion King The show was absolutely outstanding The staff serving at the drinks bar were dreadful I asked for a medium sized glass of wine (poor wine & $33) & a beer (€22)The beer was a 250ml tinThe female server asked me to pay & issues the card machine & “recommendeds” to me an 18% tip, which was rude, in view of that I opted not to tip, she then bangs a plastic tub on the counter which had some dollar notes in it & said to me in harsh voice “your paper tips go in here” I said no thanks She then poured a dribble of wine in the cup & snapped the lid closed, I questioned that it was a medium glass of wine I had purchased & she told me in no uncertain terms that it was a medium amount.I questioned again & she showed me what a medium glass amount was & it turned out to be double what she had poured in my cup.It was around 150ml of poor wine for €33 Upon leaving I noted 3 male members of staff near the doorway & they appeared to be management & I wish I had spoken to them The show - outstanding The theatre - s delight The staff member who served me - I would fire her absolutely If a member of management would like to discuss this further then my email address is:Label6789@hotmail.comI won’t hold my breath Be careful when attending this theatre

The legendary Minkoff Theater! I traveled all the way to NYC, and just HAD to stop by to watch the world famous, “Lion King”. Totally worth it! Any seat in the house is a good seat! I even bought a souvenir! $50 something dollars for: a blanket, cup and a tote bag?! Such a good deal! Even the drinks are good here. The best part? When you’re waitin for the show to start, the big windows make for an excellent view of Times Square! Epic.

Absolutely loved Lion King. Performance was spoiled! The opening scenes and others were ruined by ushers allowing a parade of late arrivals for 36min into the performance. Appalling. This theatre has no respect for the performers or punctual audience. Shame on them.
