Saw The Lost Boys at the Palace. It's a beautiful theater and I think most reviews you'll see for this theater will say the same. It's modern outside and once you get inside, then when you actually enter the theater, you'll get a sense of its history. So beautiful inside and the theater is a lot more intimate than you'd expect. Our tickets were in Row P Orchestra. Initially I expected to be way back with not a great view. Wrong! Honestly, anything closer than row P is probably amazing, but we were 100% satisfied with our view and could see everything. In this particular show, I think being a little closer might take away some of the magic that occurs. I won't give any spoilers! The temperature the day we went was 94 degrees outside with 100% humidity. We did wish they had let us into the theater sooner that the 1:35-1:40 time before the 2:00 showing. But since we had a wait, one of us ran across the street to the Hershey store and brought back an icee to have while we waited in line which cooled us off immediately. I was surprised that there were no signs saying to silence phones, take no picture, no recordings. If they were there, I did not see them. And there were no announcements before the show either. The audience, from what I saw did not disrespect the theater and break any of these usual rules that other theaters have. Seats were comfortable I thought and yes, they're close together, but what Broadway show doesn't have this? Most are designed to pack in as many people as possible with shared armrests. Overall, we had a completely enjoyable experience at the Palace.

Lost Boys pretty good show, impressive theater

We saw the revival of Glengarry Glen Ross by David Mamet at the Palace Theater. This theater is renovated and moved up a floor to aid in the construction of a hotel next door. It seats 1,000+ which is large for a Broadway theater. Right next to Times Square. Tip: The audience floor is very raked, meaning sloped. Views may be limited in side or very back seats. Ideal to sit in center orchestra rows L-R if feasible. Tip 2.0 The train is the best way to get to the theater. Parking and traffic will make driving to the the venue a nightmare.

I saw Glengarry Glen Ross at the Palace Theatre yesterday. The play was great and my seat was in the perfect location on the left side of the orchestra, Row K, seat 1. The seats are elevated on the side and there was no one blocking my view. These seats cost 1/2 as much as the center orchestra seats to my right, and in my opinion, its a better seating option. The sound was good, the staff was friendly, and getting in and out of the theatre was a breeze. I did not use the bathrooms or buy any concessions, so I have no comment on those aspects of the theatre experience.
