We visited the Broadhurst for Boop! The Musical, which turned out to be the weakest of our 3 Broadway bookings (DRAG: The Musical and Death Becomes Her being the others).My seat- M19 in the Orchestra- provided a clear, near-central view of the stage.

Got to come up and see a matinee of “Boop!”, the new musical at this venerable location. Originally built in 1917, the place has held up well. The theater has hosted not only musicals but also revues, comedies, and dramas throughout its history. Long-running shows hosted at the Broadhurst have included Hold Everything!, Fiorello!, Cabaret, Grease, Kiss of the Spider Woman, Les Misérables, and Mamma Mia!. But “Boop” has to be the best yet. Filled with toe-tapping memorable songs, good plot, and great performances, especially by newcomers Jasmine Amy-Rogers, 17 year old phenom Angelica Hale, and comedic standout Stephen DeRosa as Grampy, this is now the must-see new show on the block. The drinks are good, the merch is pricey, the sound and lights are amazing! Cue the confetti canons!

Went to see Hills of California at Broadhurst, When I got there at 6:30 pm for 7:00 pm curtain there was already a long line and was told by the security/ushers that the doors were not open and they didn’t know when they would open. After a few minutes I asked if there was a chair (I'm handicapped) I could sit on. They could not accommodate. I asked if they knew how long it would take. After 20 minutes I asked if there was a manager who could explain what was going on as people were continuing to ask. I was also considering exchanging the tickets for another night as I was in pain from standing. They repeated that there was no one to ask and they had no information. I was about to leave anyway, when at about 6:55 pm they started allowing people into the theater. Again, no explanations, apologies, etc. for the wait, nothing. No one knew what had happened (even the ushers inside).No apologies, no explanations. Hearing devices didn't work. No one could help. At intermission located the theater manager for help. An usher directed me to a tall man with white hair and beard at exit door. When I asked him if he was the manager, he turned toward me and asked: “What Do You Want”. I was taken aback by the way he said it. I then asked if he was the manager and what was his name. He then said that he didn’t have to give me his name and that he was the manager. I told him I really didn’t appreciate the antagonistic attitude at which time he threatened to throw me out of the theater. I decided to leave as I couldn't hear anything anyway.When I wrote to the telecharge the theater offered me vouchers for drinks next time I'm in the theater. Worst experience ever at a theater in NY.

We recently went to see A Beautiful Noise and really enjoyed the show. The cast were amazing. Sightlines from our seats were great - even from the back row of the mezzanine we had a crystal clear view and didn’t miss any of the action. Our experience was slightly let down by a member of staff at the bar who made a pointed remark when we chose not to add a tip to the credit card payment - without realising that we had put a more than adequate cash tip in the dish. It was totally unnecessary to react in the way they did and it put a dampener on the start of the night.

Just finish watching the Neil Diamond, a Beautiful Noise. Outstanding performance in this amazing out theatre. Obviously the air con is turned up because the dancers are working very hard. Amazing performance, stunning ambience, wonderful show and lovely venue. A little short on leg room so if you are tall pick a good seat.
