Very small theater which is actually a great thing! I was in the last row in the middle and could see everything clearly!!

Lovely vintage theatre that has retained its charm. Pleased to see that they had handicap seats where the aisle arm swung out for easy transfer. They also had a special line for handicapped theatergoers.

Had great seats tor Suffs on election day. How fitting. A bit snug for me but I have long legs. Nice place to watch a meaningful play. Sad it took us so long to get this part right.

My wife and I went to the Music Box Theater to see the hit musical Suffs. While the play was great, the theater really just wasn’t. Look, I know that these theaters are old, built long before modern expectations for comfort and convenience. Still…I’ve been to three different theaters this week, and this is undoubtedly the worst. First, there is no real lobby, so nowhere for anyone to be except basically in their seat. Most other theaters, even if this age, have bars on multiple levels. Here there is exactly one, in the basement. If you are seated in the mezzanine, you must go down three flights of stairs, wait in a very long line, see one of two bartenders, then climb three flights to get back to your seat. Since they only open the doors 30 minutes before the curtain and you must go through metal detectors and bag searches, you are lucky to get through the line in time. Again, I know they’re old, but if you can put a merch booth in the mezzanine, you can at least sell bottled water up there also. This theater also had very poor air conditioning; it was uncomfortably warm throughout the show.People don’t really pick a theater, they pick a show. Suffs is worth some hassle, but other shows might not be. Given the cost of theater tickets, it would be nice to see some much-needed improvements to this tired old theater.

Saw SUFFS Thursday night at the Music Box Theatre. The show was excellent and the view from our seats was good. We sat in the 6th row on the side, the 3rd and 4th seats from the aisle. The view was good but I would not recommend sitting closer to the stage on the side as you may have a limited view. The bathrooms downstairs were a decent size and the theatre overall is in good shape.
