We are a small, old-fashioned, high-end residential moving company, working mostly in Manhattan. We're very organized and do no more than two jobs a day. We prefer to avoid the big company internet-heavy approach, eliminating endless forms and concentrating on personal contact. We interact through telephone calls and emails as we realize moving is a fragile sometimes tense process. Each job is supervised by one of our four office people, forming a physical job and is constantly in touch with the office. We have a five hour minimum period otherwise despite increasing costs, we try to keep prices down. No other moving companies so far as we know have CHUBB insurance. Most movers have 3rd party insurance which means they are totally independent and unaffiliated with the moving company. We acquired CHUBB only because we were founded decades ago, but have kept that relationship because we are reliable and forthright, we also handle all damage inquiries in office! Accidents do happen, especially when you use other moving companies...
