Movies and television shows shot on location in New York City frequently use D'Agostino stores or DAG BAGS to help impart a sense of New York City realism. D'Agostino Supermarkets stock a variety of groceries, produce, meat, poultry, seafood and deli items. Through the D Agostino Fresh Market the chain offers natural and organic gourmet products. D'Agostino Supermarkets has teamed up with S&H greenpoints, the company responsible for S&H Green Stamps, to provide D Agostino customers with an electronic loyalty program. The chain consists of more than 22 stores. Nicola and Pasquale D'Agostino opened their first grocery store in 1932 after peddling from a pushcart for nearly a decade.
