tripadvisorQueensbridge Park is just over the Queesnborough Bridge. It has potential but there was a pretty bad element of society hanging around.
MoreLovely well-maintained park with some amazing views of the Queensborough Bridge, Roosevelt Island and Manhattan skyline. Arrived at around 1pm on a nice Sunday and was able to find adequate street parking along Vernon Blvd, about one block away from the park's entrance. Lots of lawn space for picnics. Bathrooms available. Volleyball court.
MoreWe were killing some time on a weekday afternoon and strolled over on the greenway to the park and were very pleasantly surprised. It was clean and green, with delightful views of Roosevelt Island and Manhattan. We spent some time enjoying the boat traffic on the river, and the walking path along it. A number of locals were eating their lunches or enjoying the Fall weather. The fieldhouse on the South end of the park is undergoing renovations at present.
MoreBeautiful view, location was superb right by the water with a city view.Plus there was a band practicing for a musical event...so we had free music
MorePeaceful location with great view of bridge. Plenty of seating within and along park. Bike and pedestrian lanes.
