Reviews
tripadvisorThis shopping center is very nice! There is a super wide variety of shops and restaurants in the plaza, as well as many different small businesses. I always enjoy going to the cold stone in this plaza and the Loft store! The parking in the plaza can be tricky, and the plaza is very large and not very walkable, so you need to move your car if you want to shop on the opposite side of the plaza.
MoreStuyvesant Plaza is a beautiful property, especially during the holidays. The manegement team added new holiday decor and has increased their events on property. The businesses are wonderful to stop in and shop around.
MoreI travel an hour each direction to shop at Chico’s and Beck’s Furs. Absolutely great customer service in both places. I am given personal service each time I stop in. Chico’s staff deserves a 5 star review. Becks Furs has been and continues to be a superb shopping experience. Mary Jo and JoAnn aim to please and make the shopping experience perfect. The seamstress, like the other ladies knows her product and is greatly skilled. If I could give more then 5 stars I would.
MoreStuyvesant Plaza has been around for a long time, and it keeps getting better every year! Many of the stores are one-of-a-kind, and the ambiance of walking around the plaza is quite an enjoyable experience. There is something for everyone here. One of my favorite places is Pearl Grant Richman's, where you can find the perfect, unique gift for a special person. This is just one, and there are many more wonderful stores to explore!
MoreOn vacation in the Greater Albany area for several days, I had a Shop ‘til You Drop day. After checking out of a hotel on Wolf Road, I went to the Northway Shopping Center first and then on to the Crossgates Mall. Stuyvesant Plaza was the third.Although the address was on Western Avenue / US Rt. 20, the entrance to the mall was around the corner on Fuller Road. This is a good-sized shopping plaza with lots of stores and places to eat. How it stayed below the TripAdvisor radar for so long is a mystery. It’s been there since 1959. That’s 60 years! Perhaps, it’s because that, although listed as being in Albany, it’s actually in the suburb of Guilderland.Stuyvesant Plaza is an outdoor mall with many shopping and dining options. What brought me there was the Book House of Stuyvesant Plaza. I shopped there first. It had a great variety of books.Frank Adams jewelry store featured Rolex watches.West Elm had modern furniture, home accessories, and kitchen items. The Pink Paddock was a Lilly Pulitzer boutique. White House Black Market featured women's apparel that was mostly black and white. The rest of the stores were a mix of local and national chain stores that included The Delmar Bootery, Beck Furs, Penzeys Spices, Hippo's Home Entertainment, Different Drummer's Kitchen, Chico’s, Talbots, Catherines Plus Sizes, Ten Thousand Villages, Jos. A. Bank Clothiers, Eastern Mountain Sports, Pearl Grant Richmans, and Rad Soap Co. to mention some. Some of the restaurants included Bellini's Counter, Chipotle Mexican Grill, Bruegger's Bagel Bakery, Bountiful Bread, Jacob & Anthony's Italian, Peaches Café, Blaze Fast Fire'd Pizza, and TGI Friday's, plus others. This is a mall I will return to. It had a lot of nice stores with a good representation of local merchants.I rate Stuyvesant Plaza at 5.0 and recommend a visit.
