tripadvisorStopped by for a few drinks prior to a game. Walking distance to the TUC. Friendly service and good downtown location
MoreLove the Victory Cafe! Sitting outside on a summer night is wonderful, but during the cold weather, just sit inside at the bar or in the dining room for some good food. You can eat light or get a full dinner - they have it all. The restaurant area is cozy with just enough tables to make you feel comfortable - it's easy to have a conversation here. We love Victory because we can have a great meal right before we attend our Capital Rep show. Enjoy, we do!!
MoreWent with coworkers for lunch. Food was tasty, service was great and we were all pleased with the menu. Lots of options for all types of eaters. We will be back!
MoreWithin walking distance of Times Union Center. Cute decor at Christmas time. Mostly baseball theme otherwise, but nice. Fancy mixed drink selection is good. Had dinner. Not a huge food menu selection. I had the blackened chicken sandwich. Others had steak quesadilla and honey pulled chicken sandwich. We also got Mac and cheese balls. Everything was good. Arrived pretty quick. Waitress was very attentive and very pleasant. Dining room is away from the bar which is nice. Prices were good. Portion sizes also good. Overall, we were happy we ate there before the concert.
MoreChanged owners last yr & food not as good. Had eaten here few times in past but not since new owners. Tonight, both our entrees (black & blue burger, Cobb salad) were not good as was appetizer (fried mac-n-cheese balls). My glass of Cabernet wasn't tasty either. Should have left when noticed only 2 other people eating dinner before a performance at Cap Rep down the street. Not good sign. Won't return.
