Ticketed visitors should not be blocked from walking into aisles, especially when others are allowed to go before them. Several heavy elderly female UPAC employees allowed heavy elderly ticket holders to move through aisles, but did not not allow other more slender ticket holders to enter the same area. The UPAC employees who block ticket holders based on body type should certainly be reeducated, if not removed . Ushers were thugs at best; there were pretty apparent teenaged girls posted at Men's room entrance; prostitution the obvious implication in full view of so-called security. The Bardavon Theater should not be associated with this low class venue.

We bought what we were told were the best tickets available for the Mavericks in the orchestra section row V in advance. We went online the night of the concert and saw tickets in row K for $30 less. That's okay, I understand. But we could not see a thing because of a crowd standing in rows in front of us. The only way we could see was if we stood up too. My wife and I are both in our 70s and my wife just had hip replacement surgery. Our friend who came with us is 80. We didn't pay for seats so we could stand up. There were some some unsold seats closer, but when I asked an usher if we could move he said no. I will never go to an event there agin.

We went to our gtandaughter's dance recital. I enjoy older venues because they have character. We had no trouble parking and there are many nice restaurants to dine at in Kingston.

Excellent for music, we went for a concert, and it was terrific. Helpful staff, and a lovely classic setting

UPAC is a Broadway style theater in the midst of a safe but rundown section of Kingston. A short drive from the restaurants on the Rondout Creek, its easy to do dinner and a show. The night we went it was 2/3 full, which was a shame considering that the acoustics were good and our seats were comfortable.
