I LOVE this place. I've been going here since I was a little girl and now I bring my kids. They have a bunch of books and beautiful quality stones, geodes and fossils. They have spiritual tools, jewelry, an awesome small museum area and also a kids section full of toys/kits. Knowledgeable, kind owners who offer nice gift ideas and a huge selection. Sometimes there is an animal or two around as well!

I always try to stop in when visiting family in Buffalo. I have been coming here since they opened. This trip I purchased an orthoceras fossil 24 X 20 at a great price. I also purchase an ammonite - like specimen. Both pieces are beautiful natural art and my wife who is not a fan agreed they were wonderful pieces. Great place to shop.

Since my daughter and I are rock hounds, Past and Present is one of our favorite stores. We could browse the shelves and drawers for hours and we always find something to add to our collections. It might be a mineral, a book, a toy, a loupe....I could go on forever. To top it off, they have a free fossil gallery. There is so much to see that we keep going back and see something new (to us, that is) every time.
