There were five of us staying. Glen the owner was very hospitable and knowledgeable about the area. We found the breakfast to be good and plentiful. It is dated but Glen is working hard on updates and with the rates he charges can't imagine that money is plentiful for that endeavor. All in all I would highly recommend it to anyone who is on a budget and wants to be near the heart of everything. Thank you Glen and hope to return again so much to see and not enough time.

-My boyfriend and I visited buffalo and last minute booked staying here. The staff was amazing; welcoming, friendly, accommodating and genuine. It is apparent they care about making sure their customers are satisfied. -Renovations are apparent but upkeep is always necessary in this business. -The price is reasonable for the location. -Close to everything around the area. Looking to go to a hockey game or football game.... perfect location!!-Breakfast was fabulous. A great variety and home made. -Will be returning to this location next visit to buffalo :)

When we walked in, we were greeted by one of the owners with the claim that they were renovating. We looked in the TV room and it was a mess. We were shown what would have been our room: a lumpy bed, two not-so-white towels on the bed and no other furniture in the room. Although off-street parking was advertised, there appeared to be abandoned/unregistered cars in the back. We excused ourselves and left.

The Richmond Place Inn is one of the best places I have stayed so far and I would recommend it to anyone! The location is great; The Richmond Place Inn is in a nice and quiet neigbourhood, nor far from Elmwood Street where one can find good restaurants, shops and bars. Glen is an outstanding host, very friendly and helpful. The breakfast in the morning is super.

8 minute walk to Allentown, bars, restaurants, night life. Very clean, yes it is older but very nice. Amazing breakfast, homemade croissants. Glen, the owner sat down and we had great conversations both mornings I was there. If your looking for a 5 star hotel with all the bells and whistles don't stay here, but if you like charming, historic and a personable proprietor at a great price this is it.
