Saw “Disaster the musical” and it was amazing. Everyone in this show was a star. The voices, the acting, the comedic timing, all excellent. Have been to many of the performances at Musicalfare theatre and have never been disappointed. A wonderful intimate theater with a fully stocked bar and lounge area. Very clean and very welcoming. We for sure will attend moreJoann and Bob

Just saw Christmas Over the Tavern. Great play as usual. Small intimate setting with no bad seat. The entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights in the Caberet after the shows is a great way to end the evening. Well worth checking out.

It is worth the drive from Canada, Batavia, Rochester, Springville to the music and theater offered. It is all high end and extremely well done artistically and creatively.

Just saw a performance of Million Dollar Quartet produced by Randy Cramer. All seating in the theater are premium viewing as a small theater atmosphere should be. The cast is talented local performers who are directed and choreographed very effectively by local professionals. After the performance I suggest that patrons stick around in the cabaret for a drink, live music, and a chance to visit with the performers as well as the producer. All are approachable and appreciate the compliments.Plenty of off street free parking is a plus. Small crowds as the theater has very limited capacity.I have had similar experiences during previous visits to MusicalFair. Excellent theater at a very reasonable price.

We attended the Million Dollar Quartet one-act show that features eight incredibly talented local performers relived the unforeseen interconnection of Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Elvis Presley at Sun Records in 1956 in Memphis, Tennessee. This performance at Daeman College MusicalFair Theater was a wonderful evening out with a theater experience unlike any other. Located behind Daeman College’s academic buildings on Main Street in Amherst, free parking is plentiful for all theatergoers. This venue is quite attractive and fully accessible with an entryway that to the left opens up to a rather spacious open cocktail-bar lounge space with large surrounding windows used for live performances. To the right is the actual MusicalFare Theater space that is beyond intimate with only 136 very comfortable seats. Even though we were possibly 6 rows from the front, I felt as if I was right on stage with the performers; I am certain other individuals attending the Million Dollar Quartet production in this quaint theater felt the same. This production included many incredible vocal with complimentary instrumental (piano, drums and guitar) 1950’s tunes which were pitch perfect, easy to listen to and not overpowering in this small theater space. The show began @ 7:30pm and ended 139 minutes later (as noted on the website). Wow did the time go by fast with so much energy from start to finish – such an uplifting musical. Accessible restrooms for theatergoers are located on the main floor really close to the entryway and other restrooms are located on the second level by way of stairs. In summary, MusicalFare is a great option for individuals who are looking for an easygoing theater experience – easy-to-find, lots of free parking, intimate theater with a great view for every seat in the house, and it’s fully accessibility.
